Mini Koosh Ball – Compact Tactile Fidget Toy
We designed the mini Koosh ball for anyone who wants the signature soft rubber strand experience in a pocket-friendly form. Each strand flexes and returns to shape instantly, delivering the same tactile feedback our fans love in a 2-inch diameter shell.

At exactly 2 inches across, the mini Koosh ball slips into jean pockets, desk drawer organizers, and backpack side pockets without taking up the space a 3-inch or 4-inch version demands. We see it clipped to bags via a keychain loop attachment or tossed into pencil cases alongside school supplies.

Materials & construction
Every strand radiates from a solid rubber core, and the entire assembly is molded in a single pour. That construction eliminates glued joints or separate pieces that might separate over time. The natural rubber formulation gives each strand its characteristic softness – it compresses under your thumb yet springs back the instant you release pressure.
We use the same rubber blend across our lineup, so if you’ve handled an original full-size Koosh ball, you’ll recognize the texture immediately. The mini version simply packs that tactile experience into a smaller footprint. Because rubber is naturally flexible, the strands won’t crack or harden with regular use, even after months of daily fidgeting.

Care & cleaning
Wipe the mini Koosh ball with a damp cloth and mild soap whenever dust or oils build up on the strands. Hold the ball under cool running water and gently massage the strands to flush out debris, then pat dry with a towel. Avoid submerging it in hot water or leaving it in direct sunlight for extended periods, since heat can soften rubber over time.
Store the ball in a breathable pouch or open bin rather than a sealed plastic bag. Rubber releases a natural scent when stored in tight airless spaces, and that odor dissipates quickly once the ball is exposed to air again. If a strand does tear after heavy use, the remaining strands will continue to function normally – the ball doesn’t unravel from a single break.

Questions about the mini Koosh ball
We recommend the mini Koosh ball for ages 3 and up. Children younger than three should use it only with adult supervision, since the small strands can be pulled or chewed. The rubber itself is non-toxic, but we designed the toy for fidgeting and light tossing rather than teething or mouthing.
We advise against dishwasher cleaning because the high heat can soften the rubber and cause strands to lose their shape. Hand-wash the ball under cool running water with mild soap, then air-dry it on a towel. That method keeps the rubber firm and preserves the bounce.
The mini Koosh ball measures 2 inches in diameter, while the original measures 3 inches. Both use the same natural rubber strand construction, so the tactile feel is identical – the mini simply fits in smaller hands and pockets. If you want a ball for one-handed fidgeting or attaching to a keychain, the mini is the better choice.
The mini Koosh ball is a fidget toy, not a pet toy. Dog teeth can puncture or tear the rubber strands, and swallowing pieces poses a choking hazard. If you need a chew-safe option for your pet, look for toys specifically rated for canine use.
The pigment is mixed throughout the rubber during molding, so the color won’t rub off or fade with normal handling. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause some lightening over many months, but indoor desk or bag storage will keep the hue vibrant indefinitely.
When you order a single mini Koosh ball, you can select your preferred color from the dropdown menu on the product page. Multipacks ship with random assortment unless you leave a note at checkout requesting specific shades. We’ll honor color requests whenever inventory allows.
The ball is made from natural rubber, which is derived from latex. If you have a latex allergy, avoid contact with the strands. We don’t currently offer a synthetic rubber alternative in the mini size, but our foam-based fidget toys are latex-free if you need a substitute.
